Day schools · boarding schools · colleges · nurseries
KejaPal offers school cleaning services in Kenya for nurseries, primary and secondary schools, boarding schools, colleges and universities. We provide daily cleaning during term and full holiday deep cleans of classrooms, dormitories, dining halls, kitchens and washrooms, including mattress steaming and pest control.
Cleaning
Schools see heavy use every day. Hundreds of children share classrooms, washrooms and dining halls, so germs spread quickly. As a result, colds and stomach upsets move fast through a school. Regular cleaning of high-touch surfaces, washrooms and dining areas helps reduce that. Moreover, clean classrooms and dormitories give parents confidence and make learning more pleasant.
Cleaning
Every job follows a written checklist, so you know exactly what our school cleaning services in Kenya cover before the team arrives.
Results
For a typical school, our holiday plan runs over several days. On day one, the team clears and cleans classrooms and offices. On day two, they deep clean dining halls and kitchens. Next, they work through dormitories, steaming mattresses and cleaning lockers and bed frames. Then they deep clean washroom blocks. Finally, they clean windows, corridors and verandas, and pest control follows where booked. As a result, every block is ready before students return.
Results
School holidays are the best time for deep cleaning, because the buildings are empty. During a holiday deep clean, our teams work block by block: classrooms, dormitories, dining halls, kitchens, washrooms, offices and laboratories. Desks and chairs are cleaned, floors are scrubbed, walls are spot-cleaned, windows are washed and kitchens are degreased. Then mattresses are steamed and rooms are treated for pests where needed, so the school is fresh for the new term.
Schools
Boarding schools face extra challenges, especially bedbugs, cockroaches and damp in dormitories. Therefore our holiday plan includes mattress steaming, bed frame cleaning and treatment by licensed operators using products registered with the Pest Control Products Board. We also clean lockers, wardrobes and washroom blocks thoroughly.
Cleaning
School toilets face heavy use and are often the first thing parents and inspectors notice. Therefore our school cleaning services in Kenya give washroom blocks special attention: descaling, disinfecting, grout scrubbing and drain clearing during holidays, plus daily cleaning and restocking during term. Clean washrooms also reduce the spread of stomach illnesses among students.
During term, schools need daily cleaning of classrooms, washrooms and dining halls. We can provide on-site cleaners under a contract, working before lessons, during breaks and after school. Supervisors check standards and work with your bursar or administrator. See our janitorial services for contract cleaning.
Cleaning
Young children touch everything and put toys in their mouths. So nurseries need extra care with high-touch surfaces, toys and play areas, using products that are safe once dry. Our teams clean after children leave and before they arrive, and they never leave products within reach.
School kitchens cook for hundreds of students every day, so grease and food debris build up fast. During holidays, we degrease cooking areas, clean cold stores and scrub floors and drains. In dining halls, we clean tables, benches, floors and walls. In addition, removing food debris makes pest control far more effective. See our commercial kitchen cleaning page for more detail.
Three things set our school cleaning services in Kenya apart. First, every job has a written checklist agreed before the day, so the team knows exactly what you expect. Second, a team leader stays on site and checks each area before moving on. Third, a coordinator follows up afterwards and handles any feedback. Together, these steps turn a one-off visit into a reliable service you can book again and again.
Choosing school cleaning services in Kenya is about trust and results. So we work in a way that earns both: a free written quote, a named coordinator, trained and uniformed teams, the right products and machines, and a walk-through before we leave. Moreover, if anything is missed, you know exactly who to call.
Schools need clear planning and documentation. So we agree the scope in writing, schedule the work around the school calendar and share a completion report with photos. For boards and parents’ associations, this makes it easy to see what was done and when. Many schools book the same holiday slots every year, so we plan ahead.
You can book our school cleaning services in Kenya as a one-off job or as part of a regular plan. One-off jobs suit special situations, such as moving, an event or a seasonal reset. Regular plans, on the other hand, keep standards steady and are easier to schedule, because the same team returns on agreed days. You can change or pause a plan with a few days’ notice.
Safety comes first on every job. Our teams use products suited to each surface, follow label instructions, ventilate rooms and keep products away from children and pets. In addition, they wear suitable protective equipment and never mix incompatible chemicals.
Landlords, property managers, schools, hotels and businesses often book school cleaning services in Kenya for several properties or sites. In that case, we agree one schedule, one standard and one point of contact, and we can invoice monthly in the company name. Moreover, supervisors share short reports with photos, which helps managers who cannot be on site.
Our base is in Nairobi, so most jobs take place across the city’s estates and business districts. We also cover nearby towns and plan larger jobs further afield. Towns we serve often include Nairobi, Kiambu, Ruiru, Thika, Kitengela, Machakos, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret. See all our service areas.
We use concentrated products dosed correctly, microfibre cloths that clean with less chemical and machines that save water where possible. Waste is bagged and handed to licensed collectors, in line with guidance from the National Environment Management Authority. Plant-based products are available on request.
Costs and pricing
Every job is different, so we do not use a fixed price list. Instead, we look at photos, a short video call or a quick visit, then send a free written quote within one working day. The quote lists the team, the time and what is included, so there are no surprises. Request your quote to get started.
